Razvan Neagu founded Komotion in 1997, a successful multimedia company that provides visual solutions software products, design services and marketing consulting.
Prior to Komotion, Mr. Neagu was program manager for Microsoft's Interactive Media Group, responsible for development of Microsoft's Internet/MSN content including computer graphics, digital characters and motion capture. He joined Microsoft in 1993 as a program manager for their Advanced Technology Research Division, responsible for user interface design and functionality for Microsoft's rich media authoring tools.
From 1992 to 1993, Mr. Neagu was visualization supervisor for Douglas Trumbull's award-winning film special effects company where he managed a team of artists for immersive cinematic “ridefilm” projects.
Mr. Neagu conducted advanced media research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's renowned Media Lab. He earned a master's degree from MIT in 1993.
