Do you plan on making available the entire help as a pdf to make it easier to print out a manual?

Howard, the Help files are still changing, and lagging the development and implementation of various features. It is a good suggestion for us to keep in mind once the Help files are finalized.

    Thanks for your prompt response.

I have tried to customize theme #1 by clicking the Customize tab and then clicking the Header Bar Title Text. Where do I enter my new text? Header Bar Title Text shows in the bottom box but can not be changed.

The theme editor is to control look and feel (graphics, colors, etc.). Text is controlled by what you enter elsewhere in the wizard. Gallery title is entered in Step 5, on the main tab.

An important note for you and other readers of this blog:

The current version is not feature complete, help files are not fully implemented and some features are not working correctly. Installing and running the program is meant to provide a “heads-up” of things to come and provide an opportunity for potential users to shape the features by providing feedback. The Beta version is currently provided on a “as is” basis; we do not have the resources for providing help at this stage.

Please use this blog to post comments (feature requests, bug reports, usability issues, etc.). Please do not use this blog to post questions! Closer to the final release we will provide the appropriate means for offering product support as well as discussion forums.

    We appreciate your understanding,
    Shozam! Development Team

A suggestion - I’d like to be able to set the enlarged images to be shown as the default instead of requiring the viewer to click “Enlarge”

Would like to have the images in sequence. Now, the last slide is in the #1 position and has to be manually moved to the last position. Thank you.

Howard, a workaround to displaying images in “Large view layout” is to have your main gallery page be the gallery index (the “contact sheet” view showing the thumbnails for all your gallery images. Then, when users click to see an image, they are taken automatically to the Large Page and can then go from image to image that way.

It is unlikely the default navigation will be changed since our usability studies have shown viewers prefer to see the thumbnails at the same time (the QuickView layout) so they can jump around if they want to.

Paula, the images are aranged in the wizard when importing multiple images at once is a known issue and it is currently on the wishlist of features to be addressed. Thanks for the suggestion.
