New Beta Post! Version 1.0.0.31446

The latest Shozam! Beta is now available to all Web Gallery Wizard customers and Newsletter subscribers. You can get a link to this latest version on the Welcome screen when you start Shozam! If you have not downloaded Shozam! yet, you need to first join and then you will be able to download the latest version from the Download page of this Shozam! Community site.

Download latest Beta. (If you are new, you need to join; if you are a member, you need to sign in)

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THIS BETA:
In this Beta edition, the Start Screen "Register your purchase" key field is enabled. You will need to copy/paste the following key into the field in order to "Register" and enable all the features of the Beta program:

  • Step 1 Information Screen includes New Overview and New Tutorial
  • Online Help Files have been updated, including information on the Step 6 Basic and Presets tabs, as well as settings examples to help users upload and view galleries at correct locations
  • 6886  Intro animation images doesn't appear in selected order
  • 6982  PCB-gallery: if right-click is disabled, and you view an image in "details" view, you can right-click
  • 6177  EB2-Decrease quality of thumbnails displayed in wizard to speed up display
  • 7120  Force the application to close itself, if user is installing another version of Shozam!
  • 6966  PCB-media: i imported ~100 images, then clicked on one. all were selected. shouldn't just the one image

Thank you for the information, I just downloaded the new beta and the first problem I had was entering the key. I discovered eventually that when you cut and paste, it is there! but does not show in the box. A bit confusing but up and running now. Thankyou for the information.

I tried "Retry", with no success.  So I Aborted the install.  I then uninstalled the first beta program thinking that would help, and tried to re-run the setup.exe file, and ran into the same error message.

So I tried to delete the Shozam! folder from my drive, and I get "Cannot delete AxInterop.SHDocVw.dll: Access is denied".

Now I can't install the new Beta program, nor do I have the old Beta program on my computer anymore.  :(  

Help???

I have noticed the error"DeleteFile failed; code 5.  Access is denied." when trying to install a new version while an older version is still running in the background. If this was indeed hte case, you may want to relate this information as well to the technical team.

Already recreated everything and an info page using the new beta and it all seems to work on mine with 20 albums and 1082 images.

Have not tried it on the video galleries yet.

I installed the beta Shozam without any problems. The interface was similar to the Wizard Pro, so it was easy to set up a new gallery. I pasted it into Front Page and published it to my server to see how it ran and upload and download times. That went relatively smoothly also. Now, everything seems to work except the slideshow displays a very small picture. Is this a part of the beta version to limit use or is there a problem? I liked Wizard Pro but I'm sure I will like this better.

Version 31446 is newer than 32236. We will fix the numbers so it will be more intuitive in the future, ensuring the number matches the chronology.
