Current version of Shozam runs optimally on Windows XP and Windows Vista; it does not run on Windows 7. We have created a special version (v.1.0.7) that you can download from this page and that will work on Windows 7; however, it will generate all gallery files each time you generate the gallery.
To activate Shozam from trial mode into the edition you purchased, please contact Shozam Helpdesk at http://helpdesk.shozam.com and send them:
- Your order id (or email used for the transaction)
- The hardware number displayed on the Activation tab in Step 1 of Shozam
You will then receive your activation key turning the Shozam trial version into the specific Shozam edition you have purchased. Note that if you have purchased any upgrades, you will need to provide related order ids; you will then receive multiple keys and you will need to activate each edition, in the respective order.
If you start Shozam and you only see the Shozam graphic (splash screen) come up briefly but then nothing happens at all, please try the following steps to address the issue:
1) Right Click Shozam icon
2) Select Properties.
3) Select Compatibility tab
4) Check the option “Run this Program in Compatibility mode for”
5) Select XP or Vista (do not select win 95/win 98) as an option in dropdown and apply.
6) Now Run Shozam and it should Work.
To run Shozam you have to check option in Compatibility mode Tab. You may need to check different options before you find the one that works best. Once it does, please also notify Shozam Helpdes (http://helpdesk.shozam.com) which one worked for you.
