    Maps

Okay here I go again having more map issues. I went into a gallery to add a few images and then generated the gallery. When I previewed it I noticed that the gallery map (not images maps) had zoomed in so far that it only showed the message that they didn't have an image at that setting. The zoom setting is at 10. I've tried everything from removing all maps and doing them again. Now I can't add a gallery map but can add individual maps for images. I am using the most recent upgrade to Shozam. Any ideas what is going on now?

    Re: Maps

Map bug back?  Here's the procedure I've gone through creating a new gallery.

    1- Add images.

2- Highlight no images. The view map option is not available even after entering the API key.

3- Highlight an image. The view map option becomes available. Select area on map and click apply. Map for image works fine.

This was done using version 1.1.0.27

I installed version 1.1.0.25 and everything works fine. I didn't try version 1.1.0.26 since it was requested we not use that version although I didn't seem to have any of the problems mentioned with that version.

Using version 1.1.0.25 I have been able to fix the issue in my previous post. It is the same version which created the 3 galleries.

    Re: Maps

    Tom,

Please make sure you re-generate all files, or at least all the map files. Note the process detailed in the release notes:

    http://community.shozam.com/files/folders/programs/entry1471.aspx

NOTE: Fixing map issues in existing galleries requires re-generating all HTML files. For this you can uncheck the "generate modified files only" in Step 5. This will also reprocess and re-generate all image files, which is not neccessary. Another option is to re-generate (all) HTML files only. For this, just change the View Type for the Gallery Map following the steps below:
    > Start Shozam
    > Step 1 --> choose to modify existing gallery
    > Step 3 --> choose to modify an album (does not matter which)
    > Step 2 --> select the the Map Tab --> deselect all thumbnails
    > Click the View drop-down selector and select a different type
    > Generate gallery (you can keep "generate modified files only" checked)
    > Follow the steps above again and change the View Type back and re-generate (optional)
    > Upload

    Re: Maps

Thanks Razvan! That wasn't the process I was trying to use. Will follow your steps and see if that fixes everything.
