    Glyn's travel photos

This is the start of a long project to add approx 15,000 photos! I hope you like the albums I have created to date at:

Thanks for sharing with us your collection; well worth seeing! I liked also hopping around from place to place using the map feature.

One thing that threw me off at the beginning is not finding your album menu on your main website page. I would think other users may miss that as well; currently it looks more as a title or graphical treatment rather than a navigation menu or link. I would also put a text link to the album at the end of your intro letter, so visitors are more guided to the next logical step once they finish reading and are scrolled more towards the bottom of the page.

Looking forward to additions to your galleries; great job!

     Hi Glyn,

    Welcome to the forum!

Your photos are very nice.  Sure looks like a lot of work for 15,000 photos.

You might want to know that in FF3, in your columns under National Trust and Overseas, the links are blinking.  Plus Home, Main Gallery and Menu of Albums links also blink.  They are fine in IE7 and SFW with no blinking.

I looked at the syle sheet below:

    http://members.tripod.com/maltesebudgie/styles/style2.css

If you change text-decoration: blink; to text-decoration: none;, that should get rid of it.  The blinking is annoying.

Also, the album link below gets a 404 in all browsers.

If it ain't broke... fix it until it is!

Thanks for the comments, the link should be fixed and the blinking turned off.

    Glyn.
