Shozam Community

I have just upgraded to the latest version of Shozam (1.2.30). Up to now I have successfully created 110 galleries with over 2500 photos (www.gpmarsh.com), now when I try and add a new gallery I get a critical error.

I have submitted the error report but Shozam have been unable to replicate the error. I have removed the album I was trying to create, number 111, and then tried to generate all the files for my previous galleries but I still get the same critical error. I have uninstalled and re-installed version 1.2.30 but still have the same problem.

I have also tried reverting back to the previous version of Shozam (1.2.29) but when I try and load my gallery it is not recognised as a Shozam Gallery, I suspect the xml file has been modified so that only that only the latest version will load it. How can I get back to using version, 1.2.29 with my existing galleries?

Your technical question is best answered by our Technical Support Team through Helpdesk. We've had a few users report conflicts moving to the latest update. Helpdesk is working through those issues and we hope to have all of them resolved quickly and provide interim workarounds as needed. Our Technical Support Team does not monitor these forums, at least not on a formal and regular basis so it is best to work with them directly through the Helpdesk system.

Looks like the issue happens under specific circumstances and if the gallery contains more than 6 albums. The Dev Team is expected to have a solution next week. Previous version can be installed from:

 OK. You confused me.

I was running 1.2.29 and didn't update to 1.2.30.  1.2.29 was fine on 10/8 when I launched Shozam.

It had a message that 1.2.30 was available.

Now, today, I   launch Shozam and I get the below message and Shozam shows I am running 1.2.27.

UPDATE: Version 1.2.30 coming soon...

What gives? Should I download 1.2.29 again or just wait?

We are in the process of making version 1.2.31 availble. Version 1.2.30 had a limitation of working only for galleries with no more than 6 albums. We removed that limitation in version 1.2.31, which should be available shortly. Sorry for the confusion.
