I've created a web gallery with Shozam at http://www.photographer.jamesrae-artist.com/Photographs%20of%20India%20by%20James%20Rae/index.htm

The Gallery and the Slideshow show up well on PC, but the SLIDESHOW in MAC shows up as thumbnails (very small images).

If you have a MAC, can you please on "SLIDESHOW" and tell me if you see the images as thumbnails? diana.blue@dianablue.com

If anyone can fix this, or help me, this would be great.

I have been using Web Gallery Wizard for more than a year, and it worked well on both PC and MAC. We need software that works well in both.

I see tiny images in your slideshow on my Windows PC. Please create a fresh gallery with the latest Beta and see if the problem persists. If it does, please provide all information to Shozam! Technical Support. It looks like it may not be a Mac vs. PC issue but it is unlear to me at this point what causes this behavior.

I did a "view source" on your gallery HTML code. It looks like the code has been changed in the online gallery HTML to force images to display at 31x31 pixels. This is not code generated by Shozam!. Did you manually edit the code or did another application interact with the Shozam! generated HTML?

This is the same problem I am having on my PC. the display is 31 X 31 but if you right click on the small image, the file is full size. I am using the most recent Beta.

It looks like your Slideshow HTML has the following code towards the bottom of the page:

  width="31" height="31"

This is forcing the images to display in a 31 pixels square. This is not code generated by Shozam!. Have you altered the code by any chance? I have heard reports that FrontPage takes the liberty to alter the HTML when using FrontPage Server Extensions. Is this your situation?

Generate the gallery and look at the code if it contains the code quoted above. If it does not, then follow your workflow and see at what point your files are altered to force the images to display at 31px.

Sorry for the delay in getting your issue responded to; our Help Desk is still in the process of being set up - think of it as being in Beta as well.

This is the same issue I had last week with version.1.0.0.4.  I had to recreate the gallery twice before it fixed itself. 

I have a help desk ticket in there somewhere for this.

Note:  I have not since this since.

I did not alter the code myself but I am using front page to publish the pages. I use front page extentions on my server. If I run the slideshow from the local side it works fine but running the same file from the server side generates the small pictures.  I published Wizard Pro files the same way and had no problem. Do you have a solution?

The solution resides on the FrontPage side; it should not touch your gallery files and modify them as it fancies. There must be a way to control this behavior from FrontPage; if you do not know how to do this you may need to ask Microsoft. Otherwise just bypass FrontPage. Use Shozam!'s FTP to upload the gallery files to directly to your Web server.

Fixed - I first disabled the frontpage extentions on the server side and then changed to the FTP upload option. I reloaded the slideshow files and it works fine.

Is it possible to correct this situation without disabled frontpage extensions? I need to have them enabled to publish my site but I have tiny slide show images.

You will need to contact Microsoft's Frontpage support and enquire about what settings may be modifiable to prevent Frontpage from making unauthorized edits to your HTML files. We cannot advise reliably on third party programs; also, internally we use Dreamweaver rather than Frontpage so we may not be in best position to give even informal tips. If you get useful information, let us know and we will make it available to others that may be in a similar situation.
