When I tried to install the latest version, it gives me an error: "An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file: DeleteFile failed; code 5.  Access is denied.  Click Retry to try again, Ignore to skip this file (not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation."

I tried "Retry", with no success.  So I Aborted the install.  I then uninstalled the first beta program thinking that would help, and tried to re-run the setup.exe file, and ran into the same error message.

So I tried to delete the Shozam! folder from my drive, and I get "Cannot delete AxInterop.SHDocVw.dll: Access is denied".

Now I can't install the new Beta program, nor do I have the old Beta program on my computer anymore.  :(  

Help???

I wonder if this has anything to do with user privileges on your system.  Do you have full admin access on your computer or is it a limited account?  Are any special permissions applied to your Shozam folders?  Did you install this on your user account, or another account? 

Just trying to give you some ideas while we wait for Shozam feedback. 

I do have full Admin rights on my PC, and there are no special permissions.  I tried four separate times, including re-downloading the .exe file from here as well, all to no avail.  I did a re-boot of my PC "just in case", and still couldn't install it.

I did, however, FINALLY get it installed after having to rename the target folder to Shozam!2.  I was so frustrated after that point, I haven't even attempted to run the program yet.  One of these days I'm sure I'll get around to it.

Leahfay, sorry you had problems installing. I have seen "DeleteFile failed; code 5.  Access is denied." when trying to install the program while another version is still running in the background. However, if you did not try the program yet, this was probably not your case.
