Lost of header and footer in "Album, quick view, Large and detail view"

My question is relative to custom headers / footers  and Quick View, Large and Detail View.

I added code to place an image (Logo) and menubar into the Header HTML  and also a menubar into the Footer HTML.

These additions appear in the intro, info and index pages. They do not appear at all in the slideshow.

When I select "Album, quick view, Large and detail view", they no longer appear . Images are replaced by a  box with an X and the menubar no long appears .

In the "large view", the pay pal buttons extend into the footer and outside of the frame.

I’m sure that it is something I’m doing wrong and I know just enough to get myself in trouble.

    Any help appreciated.

I do not have a local testing server, could that possibly be the issue ?

i think that I narrowed it down to iframe issue. If I remove footer html, everything appears to work as expected.

What I'm attempting to do is to put a menubar that I created with imageready into the footer along with some text on each Shozam outputed view.

Not a big issue and I can do without, but I thought that I would make these pages consist with the rest of my site.

    Enough for tonight.

Based on the behavior you describe, I would guess your custom HTML is incorrect. Particularly, you are probably trying to reference images/files using relative paths. This will not work since the various gallery pages where your custom HTML is injected into are in different folder locations so a path that may work for the Intro page will not work for an album page.

The correct syntax for the custom HTML should reference absolute paths (paths to the specific URL where the needed file/image exists on the Web server).

thanks, the iframe I believe was causing issues with how the detailed view was being displayed, remove iframe and that was solved.

I also believe that you are correct on the absolute paths (boy I need to read more and "wing it " just a little less, but Engineers do not read directions do we)

Thanks and I like what I see so far.
