    Is possible to select the intro images rather than use the first nine in the folder.

    Alan,

    You can create a new album with the iamges you want to be used in the Intro. Then go to Step 3 --> Options tab --> Intro animation and select that album to be used for the intro animation. You can also use the Album display --> Hide album, on the same tab, to not have that album show as a regular album (if you only want to use that album to drive the Intro animation).

    Alan,

    Following along with Razvan's information, you can also shorten the intro sequence by running a 3 image - 3 times format like the examples below using the hidden album/intro choices.
