Tom, Thanks for the kind words and Birthday wishes.
One of these days we need to come back out your way but it is so far for those of us who resist air travel. The last time we were there was in about '83. We took a month in our broken down VW Vanagon. Problems started the second day and we were towed back the last 180 miles. Between those ends, we saw some beautiful country.
My favorite photography story took place when we crossed over to Vancouver. I was taking some beautiful shots as we went through Buchart Gardens and toured the city in a horse drawn carriage with our Gr Sheppard dog sitting up in front watching the horse. At days end, we drove back onto the ferry and headed back to the US. We got out of the camper on the ferry and looked back at the disappearing skyline. I took out my camera to finish out the roll of film. 36 ...37.....38.......39..............40 . . .EXPLETIVE! The film had not caught! I had lost the last roll of shots. Remember those days; if you didn't advance the film too much when you loaded, you could squeeze out 37 or even 38 shots on a roll. I'm sure I had award winning shots that never made it to film.
So, keep on taking those NW shots and I will continue to enjoy them.
(I'm with you on the 150, I'd rather die young and come back in my next life with a better camera)
