    Problem with Absolute Paths

I am trying to create my first gallery and I have trouble with my custom header.

I have created a header/banner with links - and copied it into the HTML section. I have used absolute paths from my images - but they simply don't show.

This is one of the links to one of my images <img src="http://wwww.webweaver-webdesign.com/WorldWideTravelBug/images/graybg.gif" width="20" height="100">

This is the link to my gallery page: http://www.webweaver-webdesign.com/worldwidetravelbug/south%20africa%202007/index.htm

I tried many differents ways - but don't get it to work.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks, Jannette

    Re: Problem with Absolute Paths

You have a problem with your upper - lower case in your src's.

     Try this:

Thanks for your help. I tried the uppercase - after I got endless errors (with lowercase).

But your answer did help me - as I figured out that all my www. contained 4 w's - and that is what was causing the error.

    Thanks again,

    Jannette

Geez.  I missed the extra W.  Typos - UGH!

Looks nice right now but your "contact" link does a 404.

    T.

Looking at your site more, I think you have a solution for a lot of photographers around here that want to display their albums using Shozam in a

different layout. I'm not a photographer but can recognize when a page design can work for others.

    Look at this Page

With a few modifications, it would be a nice template.

First, between home & contact, I would add an about us page.

In the body part where you have the SOUTH AFRICA 2007 pic, you have enough room across for 3 albums with adequate spacing.

Rows could be added below the top row.

Above the top row, I would add appropriate text for SEO.

Then, where you have "gallery", I would change that to "album" and link to the Album.

Naturally, I would eliminate the Intro link because visitors would use the home link to return and most will not figure out how to get back to the Intro page without the link being there.

It might not work for everyone.  Going to try that on one of my sample galleries and see what I can come up with.

    Re: Problem with Absolute Paths

Thank you for your feedback. It will be a work of progress for a while - but I think in Shozam I finally found a "vehicle" to publish all our travel adventures. First I did have an "about us" - then I took it out - but maybe it goes back in again. And yes, I already planned on having 3 rows on the home page - and text for SEO will follow once I have some more content up. My major goal is to keep things short and sweet when it comes to text - and show lots of photos.

Thanks again for your help and feedback. I think I have a feeling now on working with the Shozam interface.
