    Quickview Firefox Bug?

I noticed this with a recent gallery I was creating and in Ted's new Shozam! gallery at http://www.dieboldt.com/.

In the Quickview mode the images are displayed about a full "frame's worth" below where they should be.

The one I'm working on that has this problem is one where I use an image file in the Banner.  The other projects don't use the banner (771 x 50 pixels) and don't seem to have this problem.

    Hi Larry,

I went to your site and definately saw the issue that you were describing.  I tried to replicate the problem by installing the latest beta (today), keying in my key for the business edition, and then regenerating the code on a previous gallery.  Everything looks good in both IE and Firefox.  Not sure what the issue may be.  Did you do any customization with stylesheets?  Perhaps we also choose different options while generating too.  Maybe the Shozam folks will have some ideas here.

    Gregg,

The referenced gallery isn't mine...I haven't uploaded it yet.  I was thinking the issue was with loading an image file into the Gallery Banner, but I just redid the gallery and the problem persists.

Of course I've been messing with the Theme Customization for the whole weekend, so who knows...

I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.3 and have no problem viewing Ted's site.

I have the same version of Firefox 2.0.0.3 and I see exactly what the screenshot shows.  Have you gone directly to the category to look?  URL is: http://www.dieboldt.com/files/2/med/North_Head_2_073.htm

This would be odd if the display was different on different computers using the same browser.

I also am using Firefox 2.0.0.3.

My computer at work has the same issue.

I just popped down to my laptop (same Firefox) and it doesn't display correctly.

The I ran through all of my CRT's resolutions (which means I'll probably need to resize and recalibrate...But the same glitch

My apologies,  I responded without paying attention to the fact that the problem was with Quickview.  I indeed do see the same screen as Larry shows.  I don't have this problem with my site.  It's done with a mini gallery.  One generated as a regular gallery also doesn't have the problem.  Perhaps Larry's right and it has to do with an image file in the banner.

I  know of no images in the banner, however I did upload a new gallery today and it is possible I picked up something along the way. The funny thing is though I did Not up load the other galleries today and they have the same problem with Fire Fox. This is not just with quick view because I have not used quick view yet???

    Re: Quickview Firefox Bug?

I have the same problem in firefox. I'm using an iframe on my site with the mini gallery and I had several problems until I got the size of the iframe to a certain size. I notice I have to scroll down quite far. Here's a suggestion that might help: try resizing your iframe height to 768 or less and see if the image doesn't move up. Don't know if this will help but worth a try. I had strange things happening with my iframe such as dual scroll bars on the right until I cut my height back to less than 768. Hope this helps

Tried to do a "page source" but thanks to CSS etc can't get one. Doesn't appear you're using an iframe but your page appears to be taller than it is wide. Still would try shrinking the height of your page and see if the image in quickview doesn't move up where it should be.

I'm using iframe on my website - www.rewest.mydurango.net without any problem in FireFox.  I use 100% for the width and 650 for the height.  This displays both vertical and horizontal images without scroll bars.

    Re: Quickview Firefox Bug?

I just created a completely new gallery with a totally different theme (Vivid Spot Light) and everything seems to be fine both in Internet explorer and in Fire Fox. It also looks like the cropping issue in the spotlight themes got fixed on this release. I haven't change the other galleries, but I will re -do Everything tomorrow and see what come of it. I did not tamper with the banner at all while modifying the theme so I' curious what the problem is.

    Re: Quickview Firefox Bug?

The cropping issue in the SpotLight themes has not been addressed yet. It will be in the new theme pack to be available in the final release. The current issue sometimes shows and sometimes does not. I have noticed that when it shows, you can just force a page refresh and then it works fine. Flash is being flaky...
