    Windows Vista & Shozam!

I think I asked about this but I did a search and can't find it, so Here is the question: Will Shozam! run on Windows Vista?  I don't want to put any pressure on you guys, But ... I need to get a new computer and I can stay with Win XP Pro or go to Vista. We've had some power problems here lately and I got hit pretty bad. With the life cycle policy of Microsoft being what it is, it my be wise to go with Vista. Any info, comments and/or suggestions Welcome.

    Re: Windows Vista & Shozam!

    Hi Ted,

Yes, Shozam runs on Vista. Some users had issues with earlier Beta versions, but we have worked through those issues. We will continue to work through any reported Vista problems until they are resolved.

    Regards,

    Kelly

FWIW< neither 1.0.0.5 or 1.0.0.7 will run after installation on Vista

    Bill G,

Shozam is supposed to run on Vista. However, there may be a few specific configurations which cause conflicts and which will be fixed as soon as they are identified by our Development Team. Please make sure you submit the issue as a Support Ticket to help Desk and include as much details as possible surrounding the specifics.

    Re: Windows Vista & Shozam!

    Razvan,

I did file a helpdesk ticket, and have yet get a solution, only a commitment to find one. I was asked for an error file that does not exist, and configuration information which I supplied some of. I would be more than happy to provide any other details that I can, but since 1.0.0.4, the install works, but it will not run,

Then I expect you are on the right path to get a fix.

The Help Desk ticket system is the best way to get the Development Team involved. Issues such as this will be worked on until a solution is provided. If they need further info from you, they will surely ask you for that through the Help Desk communication system.

The time delay until they will be able to provide you with a fix will depend or how fast they are able to reproduce the issue and then create a fix. Your involvement in that process will be instrumental for a hopefully speedy resolution.
