Can't install, keys asking for new key saying still old one but not valid

When the window for a new key pops up, I click yes and the program freezes.

Tried uninstalling, cleaned all 'Shozam' entries from registry and re-installed with the same result.

Anyone know what I can do?

Re: Can't install, keys asking for new key saying still old one but not valid

I just ignored the whole key issue and 1.0.0.5 seemed to execute just fine.

I had uninstalled 1.0.0.4 already and was surprised to see a key character string in the box, noticed that it was different than the one listed to the left, and also noticed that the text to the left referenced Beta 1.0.0.4.  That all seemed too complicated for Saturday night, so I just hit go and went in.

I had the same as you, except mine did reference the new beta version on the left. I put in the user name and key and it worked just fine.
    Sincerely,

Re: Can't install, keys asking for new key saying still old one but not valid

I've tried uninstalling, cleaning out the registry and re-installing but still same problem with the 'Enter Key' box freezing (message only references 'previous version' and no mention of version number).

Are there tech administrators that monitor this forum and reply? How can I buy if I can't install?

After uninstalling v1.0.0.4 I had no problems installing v1.0.0.5 although at first it did reference the old key. Yes they do monitor the forum on a regular basis. They are quite helpful.

    Cy,

I noticed you submitted a ticket to Help Desk, which will be reviewed and answered during workdays. It may be helpful to supplement the information you already submitted with more details (e.g. what is displayed on the screen when the program freezes) and screenshots as well as include the actual Name and Key you entered. Note that yesterday we have posted new Name and Key values. These are available in the blog post as well as on the left side of Step 1 (when you start the program).
